   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 36 golfers forming 9 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 27 are:

   First place team, with a 196 included: Greig Payne, 65; Craig Severson, 67; Neil Mandsager, 74 and Harland Johnson, 76.

   Second place went to the team scoring 200 and included: Jan Pyzik, 61; Dave Klosner, 72; Craig Anderson, 78 and Tim Klosner, 81.

   Third place ended in a tie with both teams scoring a 203 and included: Jerry Varner, 65; Bob Seemann, 73; Jim Zierden, 77 and Cy Sorrells, 81 AND Tony Rannow, 71; Ray Zittlow, 74; Brad Duhr, 74 and Dave Fox, 82.

  The team coming in fifth, with a 205, included: Bob Vaughn, 70; Tom Novak, 73; Mike Olson, 74 and Dale Hillstrom, 79.

   Jan Pyzik earned low gross of the day and low net with his 73 and 73-12=61.

   Bob Savre was closest to the pin on No. 12 at 8’0”, while Tom Wierzbicki was closest to the pin on No. 17 at 2’9”. Jim Lewis had the longest putt on No. 9, while Jan Pyzik had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   This week’s chip-ins were made by Craig Anderson, Brad Duhr and Dave Fox, all for Par, while Mike Press had a chip-in for a Bogey and Bob Savre for a Double Bogey.
