   As my ma used to say, “Keep it short and sweet.”

   Recently I was at the Cass County Courthouse in Walker to vote for the upcoming election.  I noticed a large granite plaque on the front entrance exterior of the building dedicated to the Cass County Board Members 1897 to 1997.  Since then, 27 years have passed.

   I believe there has been only ONE woman, Joanne Pels, who has served as a commissioner in our county. Karen Goodenough is running for District 3. She is qualified personally and professionally and would bring a wealth of skills, talent and knowledge to the board to say nothing about a new perspective.

   Vote for Karen Goodenough!
