   The free Lakeside Concerts begin on Friday, June 14, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Birch Lake Park pavilion in Hackensack, MN.  All those in and around Hackensack look forward to meeting in the park as a fun start to their weekend up north. It is a perfect time to reconnect with friends, make new ones and just relax with great music in an idyllic setting. 

   Grab a “to go” order from one of our local restaurants or your cooler from home.  Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on as you settle in for an evening with talented musicians.  Several new bands have joined the lineup, and we guarantee this season will entertain music lovers of all types.  

   Residents on Birch Lake will be able to motor over to the event, drop anchor, and enjoy listening from their boat.  Let the kids play in the fabulous playground or take a swim at the beach.

   For the past 30 years, the Northwoods Arts Council has focused on “Bringing the Arts to Life” and continues to bring various art forms to our area.  All past events sponsored by NAC could not have taken place without the dedicated volunteers who make up the council and the financial support grants from art-loving organizations, local organization donations, and donations from individuals.  We’d like to publicly thank Five Wings Arts Council, Sourcewell, Itasca-Mantrap, HLACF, and the Hackensack Lions Club for their generosity.  These concerts would not be possible without their financial support.

   Let’s kick off the 2024 Lakeside Concert Series in style and celebrate being outside in the lovely town of Hackensack.
