   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 44 golfers forming 11 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for May 28 are:

   First place team, with a 210 included: Tom Wierzbicki, 70; Doug Hoopman, 72; Tom Novak, 80 and Ernie Pulido, 82.

   Second place, with a 211, went to the team that included: Brad Duhr, 74; Mike Press, 77; Bob Savre, 78 and Jim Franz, 83.

   Third place ended in a tie, with a 213, between the teams including: Jim Ernst, 71; Blair Witt, 73; Tom Theisen, 76 and Harland Johnson AND Jerry Varner, 70; Craig severson, 74; Randy Noecker, 77 and Lowell Holland, 83.

   The team coming in fifth place, with a 214 was the team of: Dave Klosner, 76; Guy Reierson, 77; Bill McKee, 78 and Jocko Kline, 83.

   Mike Olson earned the low gross of the day with his 76. Low net ended in a tie bettween Tom Wierzbicki and Jerry Varner this week with their 77-7=70 and 85-15=70, respectively.

   Lowell Holland was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 4’ 5”, with Neil Mandsager being closest to the pin on No. 17, at 8’ 4”. Blair Witt had the longest putt on No. 7, while Mark Nichols had the longest putt on No. 14. 

   Chip-ins were made by Jerry Varner for an  eagle and Doug Hoopman, Bob Savre, Harland Johnson, Guy Reierson and Jeff Simons all for birdies.
