At a recent Cass County Fair Board Meeting, Bob Kangas, Cass County Commissioner, presented a check for $10,000 to fund improvements to the 4H Food Stand at the Cass County Fairgrounds in Pine River. The donation will help defray the costs for 4H participants competing at the State Fair and NE Livestock Show. The generous gift came from Creamery Blends Inc. who donated unclaimed capital credits and Land O’ Lakes who matched that amount. Photo submitted.
