Happy Dancing Turtle is offering classes for four- and five-year-olds to learn about sustainability and nature appreciation. Beginning Monday, June 3 and continuing on the first and third Mondays through August, the Tiny Turtles program offers four- and five-year-olds time to explore the natural world around them at the Hunt Utilities Group Resilient Living Campus.
“Through outdoor play and exploration, kids will learn about plants, animals, and their habitats, and much more! There are so many amazing things happening in nature and in our campus garden during summer that we’ll get to look at up close! Classes are held entirely outdoors, barring extreme weather, so kids should come dressed for the weather,” said Program Coordinator Michelle Hoefs.
Session dates will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on June 3 and 17, July 1 and 15, and August 5 and 19. The fee is $30 per child. For more information or to register visit www.happydancingturtle.org/tiny-turtles or contact Michelle Hoefs at 218-587-2303 or [email protected].
