Backus Lions award scholarships
On May 15, the Pine River-Backus High School held their Class of 2024 Scholarship Program. As part of this ceremony, the Backus Lions Club members Bobbi Taylor and Sandy Remington presented $500 scholarships to six deserving seniors. Scholarships were awarded to Ashley Shamp, Meagan Irish, Alaura Dahl, Madelyn Toothman-Knapp, Sydney Hoopman and Brianna Hannekan. Photo submitted.
