   Stanley C. Johnson passed away on May 4, 2024, in Crosslake, MN. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, on June 25, 1936, the son of Phil Johnson and Margaret (Jackson) Johnson.

   He grew up in Minnetonka Beach, attending school in Wayzata, later attending college and graduate school at the University of Minnesota. He taught in the industrial engineering program while in graduate school and continued on the faculty until 1975.

   Stanley moved to Northridge, CA, and taught in business administration at California State University Northridge.  In 1977, he moved to St. Paul, MN, and was on the faculty of the University of St. Thomas until he retired in 1995. In 2001, he moved to Longville, MN.

   Stanley was active in Senior Young at Heart Club, Salem Lutheran Church, and Union Congregational Church of Hackensack, where he played piano at their services.

   Stanley is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Philip (Gloria), and grandchildren, Thea, Michael, Peter, and Bridget.  

   Services will be 11 AM Friday, May 31, 2024, at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville. Visitation will be one hour prior.

   Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny and Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
