   The Northland Lions of Remer contributions for 2023 include donations to several 501(c) (3) organizations including the Grand Rapids Foundation (for the Remer Depot building), the Remer Centennial Library, Faith In Action, The Source, and the Northland Family Center.  

   Donations were also given to Father’s Heart & Hands Food Shelf, the Community Garden, and the Northland Ministerial Association.  Funds were  appropriated to the Lions’ Playground Fund which allowed for the completion and installation of the new Lions’ Playground at the Depot location.  

   Additional funds were donated to Northland Community Schools for events and activities.  The Howard Prushek Memorial Scholarship Program awarded seven $500 scholarships to 2023 high school graduates.

   Donations totalled $73,300 for 2023.  

   Anyone interested in learning more about the Northland Lions Club or membership may attend a meeting which are held the third Monday of each month at the Woodsman Cafe at 6 PM or look for Northland  Lions Facebook page.
