The Anchorage Inn and the Longville Chamber of Commerce held an exiting event for the Kentucky Derby on May 4. People placed their bets on electronic horse races and awards were given to those who participated in the best hat theme. Other prizes were awarded as well. Karri Louma (middle), Wendy Getz (right) and Rochelle Davis (left) were the ladies with the best hats, respectively. John Getz won first for the men. Photo submitted.
