   It’s finally golf season and our first day was under bright sunshine with shirtsleeve temperatures.  Below is our report.

   The LongBow Ladies Golf League kicked off its 18-week season with a brunch at the Birchwood Char House in Hackensack Wednesday, May 8. The brunch and meeting was attended by 16 women, including two new members.

   At noon, 13 members teed off in a shotgun start at LongBow for an 18-hole best ball scramble.

   Winners with a 77 was a foursome of Mary Hagelie, Louise Hay, Dianne Larson, and Cathy Wierzbicki.
