Union Congregational Church Summer Community Meals
It’s not often easy to do several things at one time. They call it “Multitasking.” You can experience it by attending the Hackensack Union Congregational Church’s three Wednesday community meals this summer where you will: 1) help reduce local food insecurity during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter for area families in need, 2) enjoy a great meal, 3) make new friends, and 4) take a break from the summer heat and enjoy cool bluegrass music by our own Dick Kimmel and his friends who will Jam for your pleasure.
Mark your calendars for June 19, July 17 and August 21 from 5-6:00 pm. Eat a great meal orchestrated by Tammy Lindberg, who is our unofficial “Minister of Food.” Your free will offering at the meal will help fill the Thanksgiving, Christmas’ and Easter food baskets provided by Men’s Fellowship and delivered by the Lions Club. All proceeds from the three meals will pay for the meat that goes into each basket.
We look forward to seeing you at one of the meals as you are always welcome here.
