The Storm Softball ended their season with second place in the Arrowhead Conference and went six games into the playoffs. With a loss against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale in the second playoff game the Storm found themselves in the bottom half of the playoff brackets. They came back the next day and beat Nevis and rallyed in a second showdown with Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale to advance to the elimination bracket semifinal. The girls came out strong during that game and beat Mille Lacs to advance to the elimination bracket final, but came up a run short against Northome/Kelliher which ended one of their best seasons as the Storm. Shaley Pearson, Kaija Neary and Bella Dunham were all selected as All Conference players for the Arrowhead Conference and Pearson, Dunham and Charity Berg were selected as All Section Players.
