Elizabeth Clark went to Bemidji on Tuesday to attend summer school.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Case spent Sunday with home folks in Pine Lake, coming out from their home near Cyphers on their motorcycle.
George Barnes drove up to Island Lake where he will be building a cottage.

June 17, 1949
Arthur and Dwight Dauber, sons of the Dan Daubers, arrived from Sand Point, Idaho to spend the summer with grandparents, the Alfred Wickhams at Blind Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Newman are the new owners of Pine Haven Resort, formerly owned by Ray Flesch and his wife.
Carl Lund, Henry Dickson, and Mantison had a “carpenters’ bee” and made folding tables for the Lutheran church at Boy River.

June 20, 1974
Neil Tobiason left Inguadona for St. Cloud where he will attend college this summer.
Mrs. Monte McKeig and children went to Bemidji to attend a dance recital at the high school in which her sister, Valerie, participated.
Fire gutted the interior of Tim Reynold’s home near Ponto Lake on Sunday. It is known as the Cliff Kruckow place.

Longville took delivery of its new fire truck from Central Fire Apparatus rep, Kieth Bunder. Fire Chief Alan Weaver accepted.
Shelby Sandstrom was awarded the Lutheran Leader Scholarship at Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
Spring semester Dean’s list announced by BSU: Amy J. Pinske of Longville and Wendy Slagle and Annamarie Wake, both of Remer.
