   The buzz around the lakes area is that something fabulous is happening in Hackensack. The energy is palatable and there are such positive vibes all around. It is visually apparent that there is a huge sense of pride taking place, with community members investing their time, energy and vision. A major reason for this is due to the Hackensack Game Changers organization coming together.  This non-profit is on fire, bringing a variety of projects to fruition that “Beautify, Renovate and Rejuvenate” properties, add infrastructure to serve residents and attract tourists, along with forward thinking ideas that enhance the City and result in entrepreneurial investment. 

   On Wednesday, June 26th, at 6:00 p.m. at the HUB in Hackensack, the Game Changers will host an Informational Event, which will share a short history of this amazing group, why it came about and what’s on the radar moving forward.  

   Projects already completed include the new Hackensack City sign south of town on 371, the Community Garden, Hackensack Dog Park, Great Start Child Care center, the newly painted water tower, decorative lighting, new city summer and winter banners, seasonal décor and blooming pots of flowers around town. In the works is the Lucette Links Disc Golf Course Team and the Hackensack Sports Courts Team. It is impossible to ignore that “Hackensack is Happening” and it’s all due to people that love this town and want everyone in Minnesota to stop and discover all this community has to offer.
