   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 36 golfers forming 9 teams show up to play the game of the day, played in three flights with Stableford scoring at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 16 are:

   First flight first place with a score of 140 included: Tom Theisen, 38; Mike Olson, 37; Jerry Varner, 35 and Jim Lewis, 30.

   Second flight first place went to the team that included: Craig Severson, 42; Jim Sletten, 39; Bob Seemann, 32 and Steve Johnson, 31 with a score of 144.

   The team earning first place in the third flight with a 134 was: Jim Franz, 39; Dallas Anderson, 36; Harland Johnson, 32 and Cy Sorrells, 27.

   Craig Severson earned both the most Stableford points and best net score with scores of 42 and 85-19=66, respectively. Mike Olson earned the bet gross score with a 74.

   Mark Nichols was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 10’ 11”, with Doug Hoopman being closest to the pin on No. 17, at 9’ 1”. Mike Olson had the longest putt on No. 6, while Jim Ernst had the longest putt on No. 14. 

   Chip-ins were made by Dale Hillstrom and Jim Sletten for birdie, Mark Nichols for par and Jim Franz made two, both for birdie.
