   The Woman, Child, Girl, Lake Area Association Board is pleased to announce its annual meeting for members, which will take place on August 3rd at 10 a.m. This year’s event will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, a new location.

   The meeting promises to be informative and enjoyable, featuring exciting giveaways for attendees. Door prizes include a beautiful Shoreline Restoration Book, wildflower seeds, a Loon Float-eh, and $5 vouchers for unleaded tackle, among other items. Coffee and donuts will be served.

   The unleaded tackle voucher is part of the Association’s ongoing initiative to “get the lead out” of fishing tackle, promoting safer and more environmentally friendly fishing practices.

   The event will also feature two guest speakers. Carl Pederson, Large Lake Specialist MN DNR, will discuss the Girl Lake Arch Rapids Project, providing valuable insights and updates on this important environmental initiative.  Dana Gutzman, Cass SWCD Conservation Manager, will speak about shoreline conservation.

   All members are invited to this important annual meeting. Your participation and support are vital to our Association’s continued success and growth.
