   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 43 golfers forming 11 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 2 are:

   First place team, with a 196 included: Tom Novak, 67; Bob Sankey, 70; Terry Paul, 74 and Steve Carolus, 76.

   Second place ended in a tie with both teams scoring 203. Those teams included: Craig Anderson, 71; Dale Hillstrom, 74; Jocko Kline, 74; Brent Jacobson, 77 AND Tom Wierzbicki, 67; Hadley Hooker, 72; Brad Duhr, 73 and Harland Johnson, 79..

   Fourth place also ended in a tie with both teams earning a score of 204. Those teams included: Marc Schonwise, 71; Mike Olson, 73; Tony Rannow, 74 and Kenny Schleif, 79 AND Craig Severson, 70; Jan Pyzik, 74; Rod Bothast, 74 and Paul Dennie, 81.

   Tom Wierzbicki earned both low gross of the day and low net with his 74 and 74-7=67, respectively. Tom Novak also scored a net 81-14=67.

   Terry Paul was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 1’7”, with Craig Anderson being closest to the pin on No. 17, at 2’ 0”. Bob Sankey had the longest putt on No. 7, while Bob Savre had the longest putt on No. 14. 

   Chip-ins were made by Kenny Schleif for Birdie, Doug Hoopman made two for Birdie and Bogey, Craig Anderson made two, both for par, Jocko Kline for Bogey and Jim Franz for Par.
