   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 40 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 2 are:

   First place team, with a 199 included: Ray Zittlow, 67; Dallas Anderson, 68; Jerry Varner, 73 and Tim Klosner, 76.

   Second place, with a 200, went to the team that included: Marc Schonwise, 69; Sandy Trap, 70; Jim Lewis, 73 and Terry Paul, 76.

   The team coming in third place, with a 208 was: Steve Johnson, 74; Brent Jacobson, 76; Jim Zierden, 78 and Greig Payne, 79.

   Fourth place, with a 209, went to the team of: Tom Wierzbicki, 71; Paul Dennie, 72; Cy Sorrells, 79 and Jocko Kline, 81.

   The fifth place team, with a 210, included: Rod Bothast, 72; Neil Mandsager, 73; Jim Franz, 76 and Dave Klosner, 78.

   Ray Zittlow earned both low gross of the day and low net with his 73 and 73-6=67, respectively.

   Blair Witt was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 12’ 4”, with Marc Schonwise being closest to the pin on No. 17, at 3’ 7”. Jim Zierden had the longest putt on No. 9, while Rod Bothast had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Guy Reierson for a birdie, Brad Duhr for par and Rod Bothast for a bogey.
