   On Sunday, July 21st, the Backus Lions will be holding their annual Fly-in Pancake Breakfast. The breakfast will run from 8:00 a.m. until noon.  

Money made from the breakfast will be divided between the Backus Fire Department and the Backus First Response.

   We encourage readers to mark their calendars for the 21st.  The breakfast will again be held at the Backus airport.  

   The Backus Lions look forward to this event every year.  One of the activities planned is the demonstration of the Jaws of Life.  This is a good opportunity for children to talk to the firemen and the First Response team and be able to ask questions about how things work.
