LACF serves residents in Cass County, Minnesota residing in the townships of Woodrow, Wabedo, Kego, Pine Lake, Inguadona, Trelipe, Thunder Lake, Rogers, Boy Lake and the Citify of Longville.
Although the LACF was established in 1992, new residents and visitors might not be aware of its existence. Yet its impact is seen in numerous activities throughout the year. All funds raised by the LACF stay in the greater Longville community. Grant recipients have included the Longville Fire Department, Lake Country First Responders, the Longville Community Garden, Longville Turtle Races, Food Shelf, Snowmobile Club, Music in the Park, Margaret Welch Memorial Library, Camp Olson YMCA and so many more. And scholarships are awarded to qualifying college and trade school students. All these grant recipients help make Longville a wonderful place to live, work and play.
For residents and visitors who may not have time to be more involved, or are unaware of the many local organizations that need support, LACF is a means to assure that everyone can become a Longville champion. LACF is continually welcoming new supporters, volunteers and Board members. To learn more call: 218-363-3825.
