   The Solheim format was game of the day for the LongBow Ladies Gold League with 14 members and two guests playing Wednesday, August 14. Each format was six holes rather than the three days played by the LPGA.

   The first six holes was a best ball scramble; the second was alternate shot; the third six holes was best net with each golfer playing her ball from tee through the green.

   The winning team with 160 points included Suzie Mandsager, Shirley Marx, guest Nancy McNeil, and Dianne Larson

   Second place was won by team Louise Hay, guest Cherrie Madsen, Jeanne Major and Kathy Newton with 166 points,

   Two true birdies were made by Suzue on Hole 3 and Nancy on Hole 5.

   Following the round, the ladies enjoyed a social time at the clubhouse with a frozen fruit ice treat.
