   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 41 golfers forming 11 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for August 13 are:

   First place team, with a 202 included: Kenny Schleif, 67; Sandy Trap, 71; Greig Payne, 73 and Marc Schonwise, 74.

   Second place went to the team scoring 203 and included: Mark Nochols, 68; Roger Frank, 73; Rod Bothast, 74 and Dave Klosner, 78.

   The team coming in third, with a 204, included: Craig Severson, 75; Tim Klosner, 75; Jim Ernst, 76 and Jocko Kline, 76.

   Forth place ended in a tie with both teams scoring a 206 and included: Cy Sorrells, 67; Jan Pyzik, 73; Joe Maertens, 79 and Doug Hoopman, 82 AND Blair Witt, 71; Jim Lewis, 72; Tom Novak, 76 and Jerry Varner, 77.

   Mike Olson earned low gross of the day his 74. Kenny Schleif and Cy Sorrells tied for low net with their 86-19=67 and 99-32=67 respectively.

   Ray Zittlow was closest to the pin on No. 12 and No. 17, at 4’9” and 2’8” respectively. Brad Duhr had the longest putt on No. 4, while Paul Dennie had the longest putt on No. 16. 

   Mike Press had two chip-ins this week both for a birdie. Doug Hoopman scored par and a triple bogey with his two chip-ins, while Jim Sletten had two pars and a bogey with his. Other chip-ins for the day were made by Dale Hillstrom and Jan Pyzik, both for birdies; Roger Frank for par and Craig Anderson, Jim Franz and Marc Schonwise all for a bogey.
