The Blackwater Lake Youth Fishing Setup Giveaway for children and grandchildren of cabin owners held on Saturday, August 10th was a great event and hosted by the Blackwater Lake Association. Thirty fishing rods, poles, tackle boxes and an assortment of tackle was given to the kids. They were all exited to call this equipment their own. Also, there was a table with information on aquatic invasive species and a board member present to explain how to identify and protect our lakes from AIS spread. One Stop in Longville donated money, with a matching amount from the Blackwater Lake Association Board of Directors would like to thank Scott Carpenter and One Stop for their generosity.
