   Nurse Collette Larson from Essentia Health, Brainerd, will lead a hands-on workshop on using the Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED).The class will take place at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28th, at the United Methodist Church in Emily.

    The public is invited. Come renew your familiarity with and learn about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the AED. There is no charge for this public service event.

   Heart events happen. As community members we can help save a life, until medical help arrives. The AED equipment guides the user step by step. The equipment is readily available in many public places.

   You will not want to miss this opportunity.  The church is located by the Emily ACE Hardware store at the intersection of county road 1 and highway 6. The doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
