   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 43 golfers forming 11 teams for play in three flights with Stableford scoring.

   League results from August 6 play are:

  The first flight first place team, coming in with a 135, included: Jerry Varner, 36; Craig Anderson, 35; Mike Press, 32 and Paul Dennie, 32.

   In the second flight, the first place team, coming in with a  team total of 146, was the team of: Jim Sletten, 39; Joe Maertens, 38; Tom Wierzbicki, 37 and Craig Severson, 32.

   First place in the third flight, with a team total of 145, went to the team of Ernie Pulido, 38; Harland Johnson, 37; Jim Franz, 36 and Marc Schonwise, 34.

   Bob Savre scored the most Stableford points with 41. Low gross of the day went to Tom Wierzbicki scoring a 76. While low net went to Bob Savre, with his 97-30=67.

   Mike Olson was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 12’ 8”, while Tom Wierzbicki was closest to the pin on No. 17, at 11’ 2”. Guy Reierson had the longest putt on No. 9 and Jerry Varner had the longest putt on No. 18.

  Chip-ins were made by Harland Johnson and Kenny Schleif, both for birdies; Mike Press and Tom Novak, both for Par and Tony Rannow and Randy Noecker, with both being for a Bogey.
