   Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk reports that on July 31st, 2024, at 10:38 a.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motor vehicle crash on County Road #73 in Gould Township, rural Federal Dam, Minnesota. Deputies and responders arrived and learned that a 2000 GMC Denali had left the roadway, striking a tree. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was extricated and lifesaving efforts were performed on scene and at a nearby landing zone. The victim, Randall Linderholm, age 75, of Federal Dam, MN was pronounced deceased.

   Assisting at the scene was the Federal Dam Fire Department, North Memorial Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care.
