   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 38 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

   League results for July 30 are:

   First place team, with a 209 included: Blair Witt, 70; Tony Rannow, 72; Brent Jacobson, 77 and bob Savre, 78.

   Second place ended in a tie with both teams scoring 210. Those teams included: Steve Johnson, 73; Ray Zittlow, 74; Terry Paul, 75 and Harland Johnson, 78 AND Tom Wierzbicki, 70; Sandy Trap, 75; Jerry Varner, 77 and Bob Sankey, 79.

   Fourth place went to the team of: Ernie Pulido, 71; Brad Duhr, 74; Jim Lewis, 78 and Bob Lindeman, 83.

   The team coming in fifth place included: Dallas Anderson, 74; Jim Zierden, 76; Paul Dennie, 78 and Marc Schonwise, 79.

   Tom Wierzbicki earned both low gross of the day and low net with his 76 and 76-6=70, respectively. Tom Novak and Blair Witt also scored low net with their 83-13=70 and 84-14=70 respectively.

   Jim Zierden was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 7’8”, with Mike Olson being closest to the pin on No. 17, at 3’1”. Jim Zierden had the longest putt on No. 4, while Doug Hoopman had the longest putt on No. 11. 

   Chip-ins were made by Kenny Schleif for Birdie and Bob Lindeman and Steve Johnson, both for par.
