Northland Remer Lions celebrated their 50th anniversary at Deer Haven on Thunder on Monday, April 15th. District Governor Linda Albrecht-Nordby presented Gail Martin with the Melvin Jones award which recognizes outstanding individuals by bestowing the award named for Lion’s founder, Melvin Jones and the highest form of recognition to a Lion member. Gail is a 15 year member, past secretary for 2 years, served on many committees, always willing to serve and awesome as a Lion and friend. Photo submitted.
