The Lady Eagles hosted Fond du Lac Mon., Sept. 11 and walked away with their first win of the season in four sets: 22-25; 25-14; 25-14 and 25-10. The girls then traveled to Nashwauk-Keeawatin on Tues., Sept. 12 and fell short in three sets: 15-25; 15-25 and 15-25. On Thurs., Sept. 14 the girls headed down to East Central to play some close games but walked away a little short falling in five sets: 25-15; 25-21; 23-25; 20-25 and 13-15. The Lady Eagles are 1-6 this season and will travel to McGregor Tues., Sept. 19; Red Lake Thurs., Sept. 21 and will host a varsity tournament Sat., Sept. 23 beginning at 9 a.m. Photo by Kyndra Johnson.
