   Aviators will be visiting Remer Airport on September 9 as part of a four-leg stop for the Grass is a Gas Aviators Poker Run. Flyers will take off from Brainerd Airport around 8:30 a.m. and will fly to Remer, Hill City, Bowstring and East Gull Lake - in any order to pick up their cards. Planes will begin arriving in Remer around 9 a.m. and the final departures will take off around 1 p.m. Both the Remer Ambulance and Fire Departments will have equipment on display for visitors to inspect and enjoy.
