   At the beginning of October, Salem Lutheran Church in Longville began their 2023-2024 Confirmation/Youth Ministry and Sunday School Ministry. The Learning Ministry team has worked hard to figure out a ministry that would fit children’s and volunteer needs and are proud to say they are ready to continue sharing the good news of God’s love with children.

   The Sunday School Ministry meets the second Sunday of each month, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The children will be served lunch to encourage strong relationships and build positive interaction with peers. Each Sunday the children will be involved with making a craft, singing, games and a Bible lesson. All children in preschool through sixth grade are welcome to join and there is no cost.

   The Confirmation/Youth Ministry meets Wednesdays from October through May from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This ministry includes Lock-ins, weekend retreats, service projects, Bible and life lessons and building healthy relationships with ourselves, our neighbors and creation. All seventh through twelfth grade students are welcome and there is no cost to join in the fun.
