Longville Lakes Bottle Shop and The Docksider over the past year have been participating in different community events to help raise funds for different groups. With the funds that were raised for the Longville Fire Department, they were able to donate $22,051. This was done through events such as the purse bingo, fill a boot program, the selling of special beer cans with the Longville Fire Department on them and buy a fire fighter a drink program. As a municipal they are a part of the MN Municipal Beverage Association which consists of approximately 200 other cities within Minnesota, and was the top fundraiser in the state this year for fundraising.
