   Hackensack Legion Auxiliary Unit 202 President Char Wilkes along with Nancy Albrecht, Sue Capelle, Shirley Frederick, Maryellen Morley, Diana Slinkard, Shirley Troske, and Donna Williams attended the 88th Annual Fall Conference held October 26th-28th in St. Cloud, hosted by the American Legion Convention Corporation. The Conference was held at the Rivers Edge Convention Center, in St. Cloud.

   State President, Sharon Cross was the presiding officer. For her Department President’s Projects- President Sharon has chosen the purchasing of two player pianos, one for Bemidji and another for Montevideo as the Preston Veterans home already has a piano. She is hoping to raise $18,000 for each piano and any funds over and above the cost of the pianos will go to the Preston Veterans home. 

   Throughout the Conference the Department Chairmen presented their programs for this Auxiliary year. “Just Ask” sessions gave the membership the opportunity to ask questions on the various programs. 

   Others addressing the Conference were the Northwestern Division Vice President Karen Susag, Department of MT.

   Hackensack Legion Post 202 members attending the Legion Conference at the same time were Rob Albrecht and Dennis Dusoski.
