Longville Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce Gambling Manager Dave DeLost recently presented Bill Abbott, left, representing VFW Post 772 a check for $5000 and a check for $10,000 to Patti Abbott representing the Longville Snowmobile Club at their annual Fall Dinner at Patrick’s on Girl Lake. Charitable gambling funds are raised through the communities support of the Chamber’s pull tab, meat raffle and electronic gaming sites in the community and are returned through donations to nonprofits and entities that qualify for charitable gambling proceeds.
