Eagles run at State ends with loss to Cherry Tigers

The #3 seed Northland Eagles run to state came to an end in the Section 7A Semifinal game Wed., March 15 with a 86-53 loss to #2 seed Cherry Tigers. The Tiger defense was able to shut down the Eagle three-point machine holding the boys to nine points from beyond the stripe. Nolan Carlson led the offense with 20 points, Alec Wake put in 17 and Aiden Carlson added seven points. Congratulations to the Eagles and coaching staff for a season to remember. Photo by Stacey Wake.
