Old Age is not for Sissies 3.0 begins March 15

   The Pine River United Methodist Church will be hosting a three part senior series “Old age is not for sissies 3.0” beginning March 15.

   Old Age is Not For Sissies is designed to assist anyone who is aging, plan and learn skills to help them now and into the future. The first of the series on Wednesday, March 15 from 1-3 p.m.“Situational Awareness and Self Defense for Seniors” will feature Pine River Police Officer Andy Rooney.

  On Wednesday, April 12, motivational speaker Dan Hegstad will present “Aging with Attitude and An Intro to Tai Chi” from 1-3 p.m.

   The final installment will take place Wednesday, May 17 from 5-7 p.m. “Jumping Worms in your Garden” with master gardener, Mary Keppers.

   All meetings will take place in the dining hall, lower 3rd St. entrance, at Pine River United Methodist Church, 348 Barclay Avenue, Pine River. There is no charge for these instructional sessions. Come for one session or all three, bring your questions and refreshments will be available.
