Wow, that was a hot one! 88 degrees in the shade! But the crappies, bullheads and northerns were biting! Families lined the pier and the dock fishing for big and small fish. The biggest fish of the day was a 16 oz. northern that just beat out the early front runner, a 14.6 oz. northern caught shortly after the contest started.
The hot dog sponsor this week was Edina Realty (www.edinarealty.com/office/hackensack)
What a great bunch of volunteers that came to serve hot dogs to all the contestants and their families.
The dates for this year are every Tuesday, June 13th – August 15th from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Be early to register before it starts. We look forward to seeing everyone that can make it.
