   The Solheim format was game of the day for the 16 members of the LongBow Ladies Golf League on Wednesday, June 14.  Each format was six holes rather than the three days played by the LPGA.

   The first six holes were a best ball scramble; the second was alternate shot; the third six holes were best net with each golfer playing from tee through the green.

   The winning team with 166 points included Jeanne Major, Mary Jo Schleif, Ginny Muller and Kathy Severson. They won in a tie breaker on the No. 1 handicap Hole 13, scoring 9 strokes.

   Second place was won by team Hope Olson, Laura Varner, Kathy Newton, and Dianne Larson.

   Hope Olson birdied hole five and Pat Roush carded a 4 on the par 5 sixth hole.
