B.F. Clark is surveying near Pontoria. Charles Raines is back from the Iron Range to spend a few days at home. J.L. Yochum and H. Yochum went to the Iron Range to work.

A crew has started work on the bridge at the end of Little Boy Lake on the old railroad grade. They are tearing up the old bridge and putting in a new one.

The Young People held their weekly meeting at Frumuth’s home. It was a party for Florence Fowler as she was working away from home for the summer.
Arlene Countryman started working at Camp Nebe-Wa-Nebe, Tweeder’s resort, last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stoberg from Bemidji are new Brevik residents and are building a home.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rogers, Margie McLeod and Mabel Carlson of Inguadona attended the Old Settlers picnic in Bungo,
The Open House honoring Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hare on their 60th wedding anniversary at the Bob Paul home was very well attended.
Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and children from Duluth spent the weekend at Harry McKeebes and called on Maxine and the Daubers.

Over 50 participants are expected for the 2nd Annual Sweetheart Canoe Race on June 21st on Hackensack’s Birch Lake.
The Riverside Outpost Company, located in the former Salem Lutheran church building, is now open for business featuring furniture, ceramics, grills and more.
The voices of the Northern Pines Chapter of Sweet Adelines have fallen still after performing for 23 years. Members were from Bemidji, Cass Lake, Laporte, Longville, Pine River, Remer and Walker.
