Kid’s shoelace take & make kits offered at the Longville Library
On Thursday July 27th, the Longville Library will be offering free take and make shoelace tying kits for kids by artist Haci Stumbo. These wooden activity kits are for pre-k to elementary children to create an art piece they can keep and learn with. The kits will develop fine motor skills, problem solving, and finger strength. The Longville Library also offers kids story time on Thursdays at 10:30 and kids craft time each Friday between 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. Both programs last through July. A limited number of kits are available while supplies last and will be offered one per child.
This free Legacy Program is funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage. Library hours are Tues/Thur/Sat 10-2 and Wed/Fri 1-5.
