The Saint Edward’s Women’s Council awarded Katelyn DeLost a $500 scholarship on June 25, 2023. The scholarship is given to a graduating senior from the parish. Katelyn has been active in numerous activities at Walker Hackensack Akeley High School including: speech, one act play, trapshooting, soccer, softball and the yearbook club. She has been on the A honor roll throughout high school graduating with a 3.741 GPA. Katelyn has hours of volunteer work giving back to her community. She has worked the Turtle Races in Longville, helped at MDHA and NWTF banquets, helped at the Longville 4th of July program and rang the Salvation Army bell. She was an altar server for Saint Edward’s and helped serve at the Deer Hunter’s Dinner at Saint Edward’s. Katelyn plans to attend Bemidji State University and pursue a career in Business Administration. Photo submitted.
