Backus Senior Center meals see modest price increase

   The Pine Mountaineer Senior Citizens Center board of directors has announced a necessary increase to meal service prices due to increased costs involved with the service. New prices will take effect on February 1. Price changes include the weekly special prices from $7.50 to $8.50; cinnamon rolls/caramel rolls from $1.75 to $2.50 and pies/desserts from $2.50 to $3.00. The center looks forward to serving the needs of the Backus and surrounding communities.
