Chopper’s Meats, Eats and Treats open in Remer

Remer’s Lovin’ Scoopfull has new owners... Chad and Godie Lindell (right) have purchased the business from Bob (left) and Julie Stoeckel on Dec. 30 and opened on Jan. 3. The Lindell’s plan to keep the current offerings and add smoked meats (brisket, pulled pork and ribs), pizza and warm subs to the menu served later into the evenings as the busy spring season approaches. The Lendell’s first visited Remer in 2019 for a Veteran’s ride sponsored by the Remer Motel and Campground and SxS Kings and fell in love with the area and moved to Remer full time from Geneva, MN late last year.
