   Jordan Jeffrey Perkins, age 27 passed away on Dec, 13, 2023 in his home town of East Helena, MT where he has resided for the last four years. 

   He was born in 1996 to Jeff and Shirley Perkins of Remer MN. He was raised in Remer and graduated from Northland High School. Two weeks after graduation he shipped out to San Antonio, TX for boot camp in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated boot camp and security force training by late fall 2014. He was stationed in Hawaii for a six year stint only to be cut short due to a motorcycle accident on weekend leave. He lost eyesight in his right eye and damaged his sinus area to the point he had no sense of smell. 

The Air Force gave him an honorable discharge for his medical condition and shipped him home. A year later he went to Colorado School of Trade and graduated as a certified Gunsmith after a 14 month program.

   He got an offer for a job at Capital Sports in Helena, MT and moved there to start his career. Three years later he went back to school at Helena Technical College and graduated as a machinist after a nine month program. 

   He then got a job at Pioneer Aerostructures in Helena where he helped build parts for F35 fighter jets. Growing up Jordan was always smiling and happy. He had great success from a young age in hunting and fishing. 

   He loved playing sports and playing drums in high school. Most of all Jordan loved God and people. He was a member of the Eagles Club in East Helena and in his last couple years he started singing in a band “Bound to Change” and was a beloved regular during karaoke night. Their band was becoming very popular around the whole region with many bookings. The Eagles DJ even called Jordan the voice of the Helena valley. 

   Jordan is survived by his parents Jeff and Shirley Perkins. Brother Kane Perkins and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmother Laurel Perkins. Jordan was very well loved and will be greatly missed.

    A memorial service is planned for sometime in May.
