Bethany Nolt of Rochester has a hobby of making sculpted cakes. The theme for this years MN State Fair contest is “roadside attractions in Minnesota.” While searching the internet for something special and unique, Nolt came across the story of Longville icon Bruno. “I fell in love with him and the love the community showed, I knew I had a winner! Hopefully Bruno’s memory and I make a good team.” Stated Nolt. The cake is even filled with donut cream in his honor. Every part of the cake is edible, down to the plaque and mulch.
