  Roger D. Larson, age 83, passed away on June 2, 2023 from a long battle with cancer in his home with his family by his side.

   Roger was born April 6, 1940 in Lake Park, MN, and lived on his family’s farm until he graduated. He had many careers in his lifetime, the last one was a painter for many years. He owned and operated Up North Painting in Longville and spent his winters in Mission, TX. He retired in 2019, and moved to Texas full time.

   Roger leaves behind his wife Roberta, two sons, Kevin and Terry, two daughters, Kristi and Tammy, sister Phyllis, many nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. He will always be remembered with a toothpick and the gift of gab! He loved people.

   “Celebration of life” to be held at Salem Lutheran Church on August 19 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Trish officiating. Also in Mission, TX on Feb. 17, 2024 at 1 p.m.
