The Longville Area Food Shelf held a community appreciation event on Saturday, August 5th in the Food Shelf parking lot. A hot dog lunch was served, 11 raffle items were donated by local businesses, did tours of the Food Shelf (Super Shelf) and gave out discounts for the Tossed & Found Boutique. The Longville Area Food Shelf would not be what it is today without the support of the community! Proceeds from the Tossed & Found pay for all the overhead costs to run the Food Shelf. All donations to the Food Shelf are used exclusively to benefit our Food Shelf clients with food, personal care products and emergency assistance. Photo submitted.
