Wonder Trek’s Outdoor Museum
Wonder Trek’s Outdoor Museum is a museum that focuses on children and families exploring and learning together. They provide experiences that are richly layered, locally relevant, and open onto the wider world. Northwoods Art and Book Festival on August 12 welcomes the museum group back with their exciting interactive materials. They will be stationed near the ball field from 10:00 -2:00. They have expanded their programs and will be bringing some of these fun materials to the festival.
BIG Blocks and Explore-Engineer: Watch your child work with others to build anything they can imagine with BIG Blocks and Explore-Engineer program. Materials include KEVA planks, Magnatiles, Rigamajig, Giant LEGOs, Big Blue Blocks, Wobbly Wonders, gears, geoboards, magnifying glasses, and clay imprints.
Pop-up Art Studio: Let your child’s creativity soar at Wonder Trek’s Pop-up Art Studio! This unique art program provides your child with all the tools, materials, and space they need to dive into the world of art, experimenting with familiar and unfamiliar materials and mediums. They will have the freedom to explore, create, and express themselves in their own unique way.
Get Moving: Get ready to jump, spin, crawl, and explore with our exciting “Get Moving” program! Designed to engage children in gross motor exploration, imagination, and teamwork, this program is all about active play and movement.
