   The LongBow Ladies’ Golf League begins its 18-week season Wednesday, May 10 at 11:30 a.m. in an 18-hole scramble at the LongBow Golf Club located five miles north of Walker.

   The purpose of this league is to promote interest in golf, foster good sportsmanship, provide friendship, and develop organized play.  GHIN Handicaps are used for scoring and for some of the games the members play week to week.  Once a month after weekly play, the league hosts a hospitality time. At the end of the season, awards are made to the gross and net league champions, as well as a myriad of prizes for games, chip-ins, and birdies.

   Former members have been notified by email to register.  The league invites women interested in playing 18-hole golf on Wednesdays throughout the summer to please email Kathy Newton at [email protected] for more information and a registration form.
